This week for A Fashionable Challenge my research took me to that Goth look. The romantic part of the prompt made it easier to look at, but on many levels the Goth look just looks sloppy to me. Bad hair, too much dark make-up and raggedy cloths.The dress in this illo was designed by alexander mcqueen for his fall 2008 runway show. He had several goth inspired pieces in that show, but this to me was the most romantic.

I really like this. I like the hair and the background and the pattern in the dress and the way you painted the lace.
Goth can be way too extreme, but this is a nice touch of goth on something a lot softer and more fanciful. Cool
