2011 Holiday card

I have been fine tuning this image for the past few weeks. If you look at my Flickr stream you will see this image with a red background. I had taken that image to the silkscreen printer to have a sample tee printed, but the printer informed me the red was too dense and caused problems for the image. So back to the drawing board I went to fine tune this Paper Doll. The tee shirt should be done Monday or Tuesday and you will most likely see it in one of the next posts. Here is my Flickr address where all of the Paper Dolls live- and I have posted a few other goodies there that could make great Holiday cards. http://www.flickr.com/photos/slgreek/

I have done Paper Doll Holiday Cards for the past 3 years. 2010 was a huge hit and in the Flickr stream you will see that the date has been changed to 2011. All of the cards can be customized to say anything the client wants them too say.

Not many folks saw the 2009 card. I only printed out a few for co-workers that year. To be honest, I had to do a little digging to find her. I couldn't remember which girl I used for the 2009 Holiday card, but there she was in the archives, waiting for her grand entrance.

This was my first Holiday Paper Doll. She is actually a mixed media piece. The ribbon is real -not drawn. She has so much life. I always smile when I see this crazy lady dancing through the Holidays.  This image also brings to mind Leanne Womack's song "I Hope You Dance". The song isn't really a holiday song, but it reminds me not to sweat the small stuff and engage in the fun and life going on around me.

I had posted an image on Facebook and several questions were asked. Here is more info on the cards.

I have listed the 2 sizes on the Flickr stream- Large or Small
The prices are listed there as well.
I can ship the cards too you.
We take Master Card and Visa credit cards and I can also take a Paypal  payment

I have several of the images printed but by no means all of them. If you are interested in having something in particular printed let me know via email and I will be happy to print one for you.

Well it's time to put on my Santa's Elf hat and head to the Emporium to start spreading that Holiday Cheer-
