The first week is officially over. It appears that this year is on the same roll as last...
All of the Christmas decorations are back in the boxes
and it's time to think about what actions need to be
put in play.
The week between Christmas and New Year's
brought my weekly planner from Blurb to me.
The good news is that the color and quality were much better than I had expected them to be. The bad news is that the cost is way high to produce this product for Medusa's Emporium. It started out $29.95 not bad. Add the tax and shipping $11.00 give or take a few pennies and before I knew it,
I was up to $ 41.00. Bam! Way to high for a paperback planner. Back to the drawing board...

But it sure is pretty.
I especially like the s.l. greek/ artist
on the binding.
Shameless plug
So the next few weeks I will be experimenting with a few new ideas for some Medusa's exclusive products.
Here is a sneak peek-
Earrings, pendents? Not quite sure yet. They are made from paper clay. It's a material that models like clay, dries rock hard, but is quite light weight. I'm sure I will be talking more about these pieces in the weeks to come.
I also found a website that will put your photos or images on a variety of hand and tote bags. I will be giving them a try this week. These pieces are still a little pricey, but look more reasonable in price than the weekly planners.
Again, more later.
I see a load of possibilities for this year, and time will tell what actually stays
and what will fade away.
and what will fade away.
I wish you all a wonderful January 2012. May you plant some good wishes and dreams to be
fulfilled this year.
See you soon-
Later
sheree
P.S. The above image of the 3 girls is by amazing photographer Tracie Taylor form Southern California. More of her work be seen on her website http://tracietaylorphotography.com/ She calls her three girls her "troubles". To me they look like angels for a New Year. I couldn't resist hand tinting her fabulous Black& White image. Sorry Tracie!
